Berghaus Sonnenfels is car-free, right in the middle of the Arber ski area near Bayerisch-Eisenstein, and can only be reached on foot, by mountain bike/e-bike, or – in winter – via the slope.
Summer
On foot from Brennes (approx. 25 min, trail Lo3), from Bayerisch-Eisenstein, the Kleiner Arbersee, or Bodenmais. By mountain bike or e-bike via the forest tracks, with a charging station on site.
Winter
Via the Sonnenhang chairlift straight into the ski area, then via the blue slope to the mountain hut. Ski and toboggan run right at the house.
